Anthracite Waste Services has advised the Borough that service suspensions for delinquent trash accounts will begin later this month.
As part of the transition to the new trash collection program, Anthracite delayed suspensions to provide residents additional time to establish and correct billing accounts. Notices have now been mailed to affected customers, and residents have until next week to bring their accounts current before suspensions begin during the week of June 22.
If you have questions about your account, believe you may have received a notice in error, or need to make payment arrangements, please contact Anthracite Waste Services at 877-789-2468 as soon as possible.
