- Administration
a. Motion to approve the Special Events permit submitted by Lavender Acres Winery, to hold “Music in the Park” in Negley Park on Sunday, September 21, 2025 & Sunday, October 19, 2025 3-5 PM and to waive fees associated with the use of the park.
b. Motion to approve a request from Lavender Acres Winery to allow tastings and sales of wine in a controlled environment during the Music in the Park events at Negley Park, on Sunday, September 21, 2025 & Sunday, October 19, 2025 3-5 PM.
c. Motion to accept the resignation of John Leverentz as chair of the Shade Tree Commission, effective immediately.
d. Motion to authorize staff to advertise solid waste and recycling bid as the current contract is due to expire on December 31, 2025. - Public Safety
a. Motion to approve to vacate current Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) held by Charlie Gipe.
b. Motion to nominate West Shore Bureau of Fire Commissioner Todd Shadle to the vacated EMC position. - Streets
a. Motion to approve application for Payment No. 2 from Kinsley Construction, in the amount of $10,478.34, for the 2025 Roadway Project – Contract 2.
b. Motion to approve application for Payment No. 2 from D.E. Gemmill, in the amount of $4,859.98, for the 2025 Roadway Project – Contract 3.
c. Motion to approve the overnight road closure for the 10th Street railroad crossing tentatively scheduled to take place Monday, September 8, 2025 through Friday, September 12, 2025.
d. Motion to amend the Roadway Capital Improvement Plan to delay the 2026 paving until 2027, for the paving of the Westwind Development (Westwind Drive and White Oak Circle) in 2027.
e. Motion to direct staff to evaluate curbs in the project area in accordance with the Borough’s policies and extend the deadline for all residents based upon the 2027 paving date.
f. Motion to deny the request for alternate construction methods not identified in Chapter 472 – Streets and Sidewalks.
