About Lemoyne Parks and Recreation

Lemoyne is home to five parks; Flynn, Maple, Memorial, Negley and Schell.

Located on Indiana Avenue, Negley Park offers a stunning view of the Harrisburg skyline. This vantage point is a favorite of tourists and photographers and is often featured on television newscasts and publications. In addition to the spectacular view, the park has pavilions, a basketball court and tennis courts.

Memorial Park, accessed by both Herman and Hummel Avenues, is home to the Lemoyne Swimming Pool and the annual Hometown Day. Flynn, Maple and Schell are our neighborhood parks. Flynn is located on the corner of Ohio and 9th Street. Maple is located on the 400 block of Maple Street and Schell Park is located on Sycamore Street.

Lemoyne also has two conservation areas; Frazer, which is located on the 400 block of Washington Terrace and Woodside, which is located on the 100 block of North 5th Street.

All parks are open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Friendly, leashed dogs are permitted in designated areas of the walking paths in both Negley and Memorial Parks.

Lemoyne operates a swimming pool in Memorial Park. Family and individual season passes are available.

Negley tennis court keys can be purchased annually by residents for a nominal fee. Pavilions are also available for rent for private parties. For park pavilion rentals call the Borough Office at 717-737-6843.

The borough of Lemoyne is an active member of West Shore Recreation, with many borough facilities serving as a host location for a variety of recreation programs and activities. For more information call 717-920-9515 or log onto http://www.wsrec.org
