Market Street Streetscape Construction Phase 1 was completed in 2010  But stay tuned for more in 2012.  Check "News & Calendar" Page, then Revitalization, for information about Market Street, Phase 2.  Conceptual plans to be discussed on Tuesday, February 20, 2012 at 6:30 pm at the Council Revitalization Committee meeting.  There will also be a Public Meeting on March 5, 2012 at 7:00 pm.  For additional information during the process you can attend the Revitalization Committee meetings held on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 pm.

 

 

WE ARE GETTING THE COMMUNITY POOL READY FOR THE SUMMER!  THE SEASON BEGINS ON MAY 26TH AT NOON.

2012 SEASON PASSES CAN NOW BE PURCHASED AT BOROUGH HALL!

The Spring/Summer 2012 issue of the Borough Newsletter has been mailed to all residents.  Please call the Borough Office at 737-6843 if you have not received a copy.

STREET CLEANING BEGINS ON APRIL 9 AND RUNS THROUGH SEPT. 14, 2012.

CHECK THE "NO PARKING" SIGNS ON YOUR BLOCK FOR THE DAY YOU NEED TO MOVE YOUR VEHICLE, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE TICKETED.

SCREENED COMPOST AND WOOD MULCH IS AVAILABLE FREE FOR BOROUGH RESIDENTS TO PICK UP.  FOR MORE INFORMATION CALL JOHN AT 554-9773.

 

 "Deduct Meters" now available to residents who use a significant quantity of water outside their home during the summer for gardens and/or swimming pools.  The meters will measure the amount of water used outside, and will be used by the Borough in the fall to calculate a deduct or credit on the Sewer Bill.  See the PERMITS AND APPLICATIONS page for a link to Resolution No. 2011-06 that contains the Borough policy and fees.
